LINE messaging app updated to Universal Wndows 1 app, available now in the Windows 10 PCs, Tablets and Phones

Line is a pretty popular free online messaging service and they have supported Windows Phone as far back as I can remember.
LINE messaging is particularly popular because of its stickers (which is their own fun version of eMOJIs). It is currently competing with the likes of Viber and WhatsApp.

The good news is that they haven't stopped as they have now updated their app to universal Windows 10 version, making it available not just on Lumia and Windows phones, but also available on your PCs, laptops and tablets.
Line now being a universal app means that you will soon be able to use it even on your Xbox One!

We are yet to see a universal Viber app, one that was promised to us since late last year. So if you use Viber and are unhappy with the support for Windows Phone, be sure to give LINE a try...

It sure looks like this Universal App strategy is starting to pay off gradually.

You can download the new LINE messaging app from the Windows Store
