Microsoft subtly announced the Lumia 650 in the wee early hours of Monday morning Feb. 15.
The Lumia 650 is a beautifully designed Lumia phone aimed at enterprise users. It is slim, with a metal frame and a soft back finish for the battery cover. It is almost as if this design should have been on the Lumia 950, 950XL and the plastic build of the Lumia 950/XL should have been used on the Lumia 650. But Microsoft went the opposite went.
The Lumia 650 is a budget phone that costs $199 and has a very professional look to it. But that's not all that is professional about the Lumia 650.
I particularly love the fact that it has front facing speakers!
Here are the specs:
A Qualcomm SnapDragon 212 QuadCore 1.3GHz processor
5-inch HD 720p OLED display with ClearBlack (sunlight readability)
16GB storage with MicroSD slot (up to 200GB)
8MP main camera that records in HD 720p and
5MP wide-angle front-facing camera
Battery is a 2000mAh capacity that allows up to 16hours talktime and 26days on standby.
The Lumia 650 is available in either black or white and has a really soft touch finish on its back cover. And if you don't like that, then you will be excited to know that Mozo is also going to release customized back covers for the Lumia 650 like they did with the 950 and 950XL.
The Lumia 650 will be available in the coming days in select European countries first. It will also be coming to the US via Cricket Wireless.
It is also going to have a DualSIM version that will be available
