In 15 days (on Oct. 6th) in NYC, Microsoft will host an event. They are rummored to unveil a couple of Lumia flagship phones, the Surface Pro 4 and the Microsoft Band 2.
Today, we get to see the Microsoft band 2 as a few renders of the Microsoft wearable were leaked online courtesy of the guys at Microsoft Insider
The Band 2 now has a more premium look to it, with the display now curved (not flat like the original Band), along with the heart rate sensor now placed underneath the display and that appears to be the only significant differences between this Band 2 and its predecessor.
Here is a side-by-side comparison between the two Bands...

I never owned the Microsoft band, but its successor is looking very tempting. I love the fact that Microsoft stuck with the rectangular display seen on the original, also the fact that the heart rate sensor is now underneath the display is a huge plus for me.
We would have to wait till Oct. 6th to see the many features that will be on board this device.
As usual, MsLumiaBlog will be presence at the event and will bring you first hand coverage of the new products so stay tuned.
