So now we wait to see how the rumored Windows 10 running Microsoft Lumia 950XL will stack up against the newly announced Galaxy Note 5.
Though the Lumia 950XL (codenamed: CityMan) hasn't been made official, let's pit it against the Galaxy Note 5.
So starting with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs:
5.7 inch SuperAMOLEDdisplay with qHD 1440x2560pixels protected with Gorilla Glass 4
capacitive touch buttons
Exynos 7420 Quad-Core 1.5GHz
16MP camera with LED flash, OIS, records 2160p@30fps or 1080p@60fps
3000mAh battery (non-removable)
No microSD card slot
MicroUSB charging/data port
S-Pen support (stylus pen)
Wireless charging (Qi & PMA standards)
The Lumia 950XL rumored specs are as follows:
5.7inch with qhD 1440x2560pixels
Qualcomm's SnapDragon 810 processor
20MP (CarlZeiss) camera and triple LED flash
3300mAh battery (removable)

MicroSD card slot.
Wireless charging (Qi)
So it looks like the rumoured Lumia 940XL has a few advantages over the Note 5.
Advantages include a removable battery, a larger battery, better camera, USB Type-C reversible connector and MicroSD slot.
These are based on rumored specs so we will have to wait and see, but it's looking good for the Lumia phablet, we just have to wait for Microsoft to announce it already.
