A new video from wpxap.com has been uploading showing a yet-to-be-released build for Windows 10 Mobile.
Windows 10 Insiders testing Windows 10 Mobile are currently running Build 10080 which was released almost a month ago. And while it came with a lot of cool features, it was highly unstable, buggy and couldn't be used as your primary device.
Due to its instability, a lot of Windows Insiders either switched back to Windows Phone 8.1 or installed the build on a secondary Lumia device that they don't use all day. I am sure Microsoft isn't getting a lot of feedback as less people are using it.
Well good news! According to this new video of the upcoming build 10134, it is more stable, in fact the reviewer in the video says it is so stable you can use it as your primary device...
After watching this video, you may be asking so if it's stable why haven't we gotten it yet? Well, there seems to be an upgrade bug that so bad that it even bricks the Lumia 1520 when trying to upgrade to this build.
Luckily, Gabe Aul tweeted yesterday that they were making great strides in fixing this bug, though it is not still known when we will see a new build for Windows 10 Mobile.
I will not count on getting this Build 10134, instead expect to get something greater as is often the case when unreleased builds are leaked. Since Microsoft will be making changes and fixing bugs before releasing to the public.
Other new features demo'ed in the video include..
- Split screen (Only on devices with higher resolutions)
- A new search bar in the app list
- swipe gestures in dial pad and in the clock app
- landscape mode
- smoother Store beta experience
