Just less than a month ago Microsoft released Build 10074 for PCs less than a month ago and today they are at it again, releasing a new Build 10122 to those enrolled in the Fast ring program.
Here is what's new in this build:
Start Menu UI changes: File Explorer and Settings have been moved to the bottom left, next to the Power button and All apps. For Windows 7 users, this will make you feel more at home, as the top right of the Start menu is now empty (as it should have always been).
Continuum Improvements: When switching between Desktop and Tablet on a 2-in-1 Laptop, the tablet mode is now more evident as the tiles are larger and the whole UI/UX is more in tune to a tablet, which means it is more touch friendly.
Microsoft Edge Browser improvements: There are a few HUGE improvements to the new Browser, you can now see what tab that pesky audio is coming from, as you will see an indicator on the tab (just like on Chrome). Also the new tab screen shows a list of your top sites.
Default Apps: Microsoft has also tweaked how Windows 10 handles default apps.
Revamped Insider Hub: The Insider Hub app has gotten a major desigh overhaul, it is now using Windows 10 design reference, you are going to love it.
Microsoft did fix some known issues and while that is good news, some new issues are being reported.
