As you recall, the first build was released more than a month ago (Feb. 12th) to a few Lumia devices (the Lumia 830, 730 and 63x series). Microsoft did explain that this was due to something call "partition stitching" and it prevented the build from being upgraded on more Lumia devices. Good news as confirmed by Gabe Aul, is that the problem has been fixed by their FileSystem team and also evaluated.
Infact the next build is already being tested by internal Microsoft testers.
But the next build will be released to a larger audience, more Lumia devices will be supported in the next build and here is the list...
It is important to note that this list could change before the build is available, as Gabe Aul did note that more devices could be added or removed based on further testing.
I also noticed that while the Lumia Icon was on the list, the Lumia 930 wasn't, this is weird as both are practically the same phone.
But we will see, hopefully the Lumia 930 will be added to that list by the time the build is released.
Gabe Aul just updated us on why the Lumia 930 is not on the list but the Lumia Icon is.
There is a unique bug specific to the Lumia 930, so let's hope that gets fixed before the build is available...
