And here is another video showing the Surface 3 in action...

The Surface 3 picks up exactly where the 1st Gen. Surface Pro left off, it is lighter and thinner than the Surface Pro, with the same 10.8 inch HD display and a newer processor; Intel's Atom X7.

Let's hope Microsoft doesn't just stop there with this Surface 3, but instead continues with a Surface Phone? Fingers crossed.

Accessories for the Surface 3 include...

Surface 3 Dock @ $199

Surface TypeCover @ $129

Surface Pen @ $50
And this is what it looks like when they all come together...
Surface 3 with all accessories @ $880
The base price for just the Surface 3 is $499.
The Surface Dock is $199
The Surface TypeCover is $129 and
The Surface Pen is $49
All together, the Surface 3 will all accessories will cost you a hefty $880. Remember you will also get 1 year Office 365 subscription but still that doesn't justify the hefty price tag.
You can always go for just the Surface 3, without the accessories, putting into consideration that the 64GB+WiFi version costs $499 and the 128GB version costs $599, while the iPad Air 2 (WiFi 16GB version) costs about the same price at $500.

There will be Mobile Broadband versions of the Surface 3 coming to Verizon, T-Mobile and other US carriers, so you are sure to get a subsidized price from those carriers that will carry it.

Remember starting today, you can walk into any Microsoft Store to get hands on experience with the new Surface 3.
It is also now available for pre-order through the Microsoft Store Online website. The Surface 3 will be available nationwide at any Microsoft Store or online from May 5th (5/5), 5+5=10 (Windows 10).
