Introducing Windows Hello & Microsoft Passport: No more passwords

We heard rumors that the flagship Windows 10 Lumia device will be able to use biometrics as a form of authentication. What that means is with Windows 10, whether on your PC, Tablet or Phone you will be able to gain access to these devices via fingerprint, face recognition and even iris recognition.
Sounds futuristic right? Well the future is now and we will see this when Windows 10 is launched in the Summer.

Here is a snippet from Microsoft's Terry Myerson talking about the Windows Hello:

"I’d like to introduce you to Windows Hello – biometric authentication which can provide instant access to your Windows 10 devices.*  With Windows Hello, you’ll be able to just show your face, or touch your finger, to new devices running Windows 10 and be immediately recognized.  And not only is Windows Hello more convenient than typing a password—it’s more secure!  Our system enables you to authenticate applications, enterprise content, and even certain online experiences without a password being stored on your device or in a network server at all."

Microsoft also unveiled another capability coming to Windows 10 and that's Microsoft Passport.

What is Microsoft Passport?
It is removing the need for using passwords to gain access to your applications, resources on your PC, Tablet or Phone. So after you have gained access to your device with Windows Hello, Microsoft Passport authenticates you as the user of the device and eliminates the need for any password when using the device.

A lot of cool stuff are coming to Windows 10 and its exhilarating to know that we will get all this in a little over 5months.
