HowTo: Find free WiFi near you with Windows Phone 8.1

Have you found yourself in a new area, city maybe you were visiting family on vacation. and they had dial-up and you just couldn't deal with that, ha!

Well, there is a nifty new feature hidden in the new and improved Bing Maps app in Windows Phone 8.1
You can now see free WiFi hotspots that are near you.

All you have to do is...

-Open the Maps app, use the 3-dot menu button, go to "view options" and check the "show nearby WiFi" check box and apply.

- Now you should see any free WiFi Hotspot around you.
- you can even click on the Spots and get more info about the WiFi Hotspot, heck you even have an option to navigate to it!

That's really thoughtful of Microsoft to include this into their native maps app, there are a whole lot of improvements to it too, for instance, you can now see public transport routes, real-time traffic updates and even bus schedules if you are using public transport for directions.
