Leaked: First look at Nokia's Android Device. Codenamed Normandy

Here it is people, This is what Android (sorta) looks like running on a Nokia device.

The above screenshot (courtesy @evleaks) shows a Dual SIM low end Nokia Asha looking phone running on the rumored forked version of Android.

It is still yet to be seen if this device will ever see the light of day as Nokia's mobile division was recently acquired by Microsoft and releasing such device will pose a significant threat to Microsoft's Windows Phone platform which is currently doing very well in the low end market with the Lumia 520 to thank for.

Windows Phone is yet to release a DualSIM phone which will greatly help in the low end and developing market regions, so releasing this Nokia Normandy will greatly dent the aspirations of a windows phone version (one of which is said to be nearing release, sometime this year).

I don't think this device will ever see the light of day. It might have been the straw that broke the camel's back that led to the acquisition of Nokia's mobile division by Microsoft.
