Good evening to all  Nokia Fans from India!

Following the release of “Amber” update for the remaining Lumia Devices aside from 820 and 920, today Nokia has unleashed the beast, Nokia Lumia 1020 in India! P.Balaji the Managing director, Nokia India, unveils the revolutionary creation of Nokia at the Zoom reinvented event in Delhi.

Lumia 1020 had landed few days before the launch here in India and there were amazing snaps taken using the 1020. Here is one of the world wonders taken using the 1020.

There has been no word on the price however we expect that a price somewhere around RS 38,000. Vipul Mehrotra, Director of Smartphone , Nokia India, showcased the unmatched zoom feature of the Nokia Lumia 1020 after it was launched.

The zoom was detailed and as you could see on the picture above, which displays the dome of the Taj Mahal with amazing clarity! The Taj Mahal which is put on view, before the above picture was the picture that was used by the director of smart phone, Nokia India, to demonstrate the zoom quality of 1020.

The event at Delhi elucidated the ground breaking imaging technology used in 1020. This also gave a chance for the people who attended the event to experiment with the device.

Nokia India had recently introduced ‘Nokia Lumia Smart Buy Back Offer’ through which you can exchange your old smart phones (Specific Range) to get brand new Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 620. Buyers will get a discount of Rs. 6,000 in exchange with Nokia Lumia 620 and a discount of Rs. 4,000 in exchange with Nokia Lumia 520 in India. I personally want to exchange my 920 with 1020! We are not sure if this applies to the innovative beast but looking forward for an exchange scheme here in India.

Nokia also launched the 1020’s Camera Grip and wireless charging Shell for Rs 7500 and Rs 3200 respectively. We heard from reliable sources that 1020 would hit the stores in India on Oct 2nd 2013.
No need to hold your fire cos the beast is now in India!
