Nokia officially reveal the affordable 4.7inch Nokia Lumia 625

Nokia's on a roll here, as they announce the BIG Lumia 625, it's got a 4.7inch screen and supports LTE.

I have to say I love how it looks, I mean Nokia has found a way to make you forget about how huge a phone is and just admire it. they did it with the Lumia 900 and that trend is continuing here.

The 4.7 inch screen while huge, it isn't the phablet we are waiting for, but it does indicate Nokia could have something bigger in the works?

The Lumia 625 follows in the line of its predeccessor, the Lumia 620 with its 512MB, but I don't think that is enough to deter anyone from getting this, if you like huge screen and affordability, then this is probably your choice.

Also, it carries a normal 5MP camera, this time with LED flash, unlike the Lumia 520, so of course, this is have a bigger price tag but it is admittedly not that bad, the phone will retail for €220 before taxes.

Elop has expressed Nokia's continued pursuit of the US market, this Lumia 625 wouldn't be a bad addition to that arsenal given its behemoth screen! After all, in the US it seems... BIG is better.

No word on if any US carriers will be picking this up.

I think the main attention grabber following the announcement of the Lumia 625 is it's form factor and material used to make that possible... Polycarbonate!

The device is well rounded, no sharp edges, just smooth all round and with new colors being introduced, this is bound to be an eye-catcher.
Colors include.. Orange, bright Green, Yellow, Black and White. And the outer shell is interchangeable, a feature that is becoming the norm for mid range to low range Lumia devices.
Orange being the latest color. Nokia has found a way to create bright colors with matte finish, so I guess it is bye bye glossy?
