So here is a simple video showing the hardware differences between the HTC 8X and the Nokia Lumia 900.
Obviously, HTC took a couple of Nokia designs, no scratch that, they got a lot of design for the HTC 8X from Nokia Lumia.
So HTCopy a lot, but I have to say they perfected Nokia's design, they took the unibody form factor and made it look thinner, with the way the phone curves at the back making for the thickest area to be right at the middle.
The screen on the HTC 8X is also curved just like on the first curved screen phone, the Nokia N9.
They also made their phone lighter, it is actually 30grams lighter than the 900 and no doubt it would be way lighter than the 920, seeing as the 920 is a little wider and thicker that the 900 already.
Little wonder why HTC took a jab at Nokia for their bulky phones, as the poked fun at Nokia by saying their phone is 20 pennies lighter. True! I mean there's no need to defend Nokia here, they blew it on this one, HTC clearly has a point. Nokia kept making bulky phones, we don't want another 7650, this isn't 2002.
Then there is the Beats Audio installed inside the HTC for quality sound.
Also, the indicator light on HTC is pretty smart too, it's red when you battery's charging and turns green when fully charged, it also blinks red when you are almost running out of battery life. I remember Nokia used to have something like this, not sure what phones though.
Overall, Hardware wise the HTC 8X easily beats the Lumia 900.
We will see how it does against the 920, when I get one.
