Nokia TGIF: Should Nokia stop exclusive Lumia-Only apps?

I came across this petition which was submitted in the feature suggestions section of windowsphone.com

Apparently, someone (Mihir) doesn't agree with the way Nokia is getting apps and making them exclusive to Lumia phones. He goes on to give his misguided reasons why what Nokia is doing is wrong.

According to this petition, Mihir claims Nokia is fragmenting the WP platform, uhm someone doesn't know what fragmentation means. These Lumia exclusive apps are not fragmented to Nokia phones, they are exclusives (some forever, while others are exclusive for a limited period). Exclusive and fragmentation are totally different my friend.

Next, Mihir accuses Nokia of bribing  3rd party app developers to making their apps exclusive to Lumia phones, I have to say I take personal offense to this accusation (even though I do not work for Nokia). Bribery? really?! I believe it's called making a deal, in more professional terms.. collaboration and last time I checked it was legal. I know of instances where Nokia has sent their development team to help 3rd party developers to make their apps available on the WP platform.
Nokia has put their own resources into making some of these apps a reality.
Bribery and collaboration... two different things.

Lastly and the most annoying point this guy makes is that Nokia is screwing loyal WP7 customers (yeah, all 116 of you).
Last time I checked, the WP7 platform had only 7000 apps which then grew exponentially to 100,000+ in less than a year after Nokia joined in.
Nokia's Lumia WP7 phones have sold a total of 10million units in a year that's way more than all the other WP7 phones combined.
In conclusion, Should Nokia stop exclusive apps? Hell No! They know the windows phone platform is getting BIG, thus a lot of competition is coming their way and if exclusive apps is a way to be compettive then so be it, after all, no other OEM has invested as much as Nokia has on the WP platform, Samsung and HTC's main revenue do not come from WP, these guys are more focused on Android.
So to Mihir and the 115 other WP7 loyal customers, you should appreciate what Nokia has done for your beloved WP7 platform and what they are going to do with it.
Instead of complaining about "so-called" fragmentation, get a Lumia (preferably the Lumia 920) I have no doubt you will like it.
