Nokia launches new range of Asha "Touch" S40 Phones: 305 dualSim, 306 and 311

Nokia finally announced its latest trifecta to the Asha Family: Say hello to the Asha "Touch" Family: 305 (dual Sim), the 306 and the 311...
Nokia is well on course with their plan to reach the next billion, and how do they intend on doing that? well, by releasing affordable phones to large markets and packing those phones with good hardware, quality apps and great service.

Asha 305 DualSIM

The Asha 305 (DualSim):
The 305 will benefit from Nokia’s Easy Swap Dual SIM technology, which allows SIM cards to be swapped without opening up or turning the phone off.
Check out the 305 promo video:

This is useful for storing different numbers on your SIMs and for taking advantage of different operator rates. DualSIM is a must have feature for phones in developing countries, places where the "pay-as-you-go" option precedes any other option.
The Asha 305 comes with a...

  • 3.0” WQVGA resistive touch screen
  • 2 MP camera
  • Music player and FM radio
  • Built-in speaker
  • Plug and Play, easy PC connection and file transfer
  • GPRS/EDGE connectivity
  • Nokia Maps and Nokia Life (in selected markets)
  • Colours: Silver White, Red, Mid Blue and Dark Grey (varies by market)

Asha 306

 The Asha 306:
Not much different from the 305, there are 2 MAIN differences between the 305 and the 306, while the 305 is a DualSIM phone,
See the 306 in action:

The 306 has WiFi capability and is a single SIM phone, it is the most affordable WiFi capable phone. They are both the same (form factor wise), have the same features:
  • 3.0” WQVGA resistive touch screen
  • 2 MP camera
  • Music player and FM radio
  • Built-in speaker
  • Plug and Play, easy PC connection and file transfer
  • GPRS/EDGE connectivity
  • Nokia Maps and Nokia Life (in selected markets)
  • Colours: Silver White, Red, Mid Blue and Dark Grey (varies by market).
Asha 311

The Asha 311:
And now, the head of the family, the Nokia 311 is a 3.5G mobile phone powered by 1GHz processor to make for a speedy online and gaming experience. As well as the 40 free EA games, the Nokia Asha 311 will also include 15 preloaded levels of Angry Birds for you to enjoy.
It's a truly beautiful device, all touch, and if you think the hardware is fanastic, let me show you what's inside:
