simply go to www.dropbox.com, sign up and you immediately have 2gb of free cloud storage space (additional space will cost you), install the software on your computer/device, and you are ready. you can share your folders with friends, and with its auto sync feature you can access your recently uploaded files form any device as long as a dropbox client is installed.
dropbox has 4 noticeable client apps on symbian, they all pretty much do the same thing: that is, give you the ability to upload and download files from the dropbox folder, the main differences is their individual user interfaces and some added features.
so let's introduce our contenders to the ring:
i found this version to be efficient, has a default dark theme, and your basic functionality, smooth interface, with thumbnails for file/folder description, multi-select files, file browser, option to choose download location.and more
what i didn't like was the bottom toolbar, the icons there didn't tell you what they did, you had to test them out one by one, i dunno, the interface wasn't intuitive enough for me,
Though i commend the developer of this dropbox client, there's alot of work to be done, interface is not smooth, laggy, and lack of features, no packed bottom toolbar, doesn't have an inbuilt download button! you have to open the content in a browser then save it. needs a major update to fix all of its shortcomings. has alot of potential
absolutely love the UI in this one, with its pop-up menu and bottom buttons, this is a feature rich dropbox client, has thumbnail view, smooth UI, set sync interval time (1min, 5min...), multi-select files/folder for action (copy delete move), option to choose download location.
What i didnt like was the position of the exit button.

the funny thing here is that this client is still in its beta phase(for symbian), but that didn't stop it from being the "best among the rest", no wonder its the dropbox client of choice for N9 users, from its fluid UI, to full features (includes a search-box with superb indexing) easy on the eyes, fully customizable (adjust size of thumbnails, choose download location), , toggle between light/dark themes, even preview files before you download them!
