microsoft & CES 20yrs+ romance ended: the "its not you, its me" story.

My mum always thought me to be friends with people i can gain something from. That pretty much explains the break-up in relationship that spanned over 20yrs, Microsoft didn't break-up with CES, nor did CES break-up with Microsoft, no one was cheating on the other and this wasn't a "its not you, its me" break-up. it was mutual, no one got hurt and there's not bitter ex.
It was just a split between two organizations that didn't have any use for one another.
ok here's the summary:
last year, CES wanted Microsoft to sign a 3yr deal on making appearances, keynotes and all that stuff at their events. but Microsoft only made a 1yr commitment, due to the fact, the event didn't line up with their product release dates, and CES is perfectly fine with that.
so thats it, boring stuff... if this was a romantic comedy flick, it would do worse in the box office than a Nicholas Cage movie, yes that boring!!
